TULSA – Forecasters say it is going to be very nice over the next few days, but as usual, the region’s weather will fluctuate between now and next weekend. The National Weather Service addressed the unstable weather in an update Monday morning.

“Unseasonably warm temperatures will develop both Wednesday and Thursday along with gusty southerly winds.” Forecasters said.  These conditions will raise fire weather concerns especially on Wednesday afternoon across northeast Oklahoma. A strong cold front is forecast to pass through the region late Thursday. A brief period of light freezing rain or sleet is possible Thursday night into Friday morning.”

The region is expected to see highs of between 40 and 50 degrees later today.
