FORT SMITH – UAFS relief pitcher Korbin Polly and former outfielder Dion Williams have been named Honorable Mention All-Arkansas Collegiate Team by Natural State Baseball for their performances this past season.

Polly, who is from Cedarville, Ark., tied for the staff lead in ERA (1.93), was third on the staff in wins (5-1) and struck out 22 batters over 28 innings. Polly, who will be a senior this coming season, also was named Second Team All-Heartland Conference and was named American Baseball Coaches Association Second Team All-South Central Region.

Williams, who is from Kansas City, Mo., led the team in runs scored (39), slugging percentage (0.537) and triples (10), was second in hits (54), was third in doubles (nine) and home runs (four), was fourth in RBIs (30) and fifth in batting average (0.305).

He also was named Second Team All-Heartland Conference and named to the Heartland Conference All-Defensive Team.
