Weather predicted sunny and clear for spring break

FORT SMITH- As local students leave school to begin spring break today, we are happy to report that so far a clear and sunny week has been predicted by the National Weather Service in Tulsa, with no hazardous weather or chance of precipitation to report!

This Afternoon- Sunny, with a high near 56. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tonight- Clear, with a low around 31. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light in the evening.

Saturday- Sunny, with a high near 61. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday Night- Mostly clear, with a low around 38. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Sunday- Sunny, with a high near 65. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Sunday Night- Clear, with a low around 38. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Monday- Sunny, with a high near 62. East wind around 5 mph.

Monday Night- Mostly clear, with a low around 40. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming east after midnight.

Tuesday-Mostly sunny, with a high near 62. Southeast wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday Night- A 20 percent chance of showers after 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 43. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming south after midnight.

Wednesday- Partly sunny, with a high near 65. West wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night- Partly cloudy, with a low around 44. West wind around 5 mph becoming northeast after midnight.

Thursday- Sunny, with a high near 67. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
