FORT SMITH – A remodeling project at a local hospital and two instances of restoration efforts from recent flooding top the latest round of building permits issued by the City of Fort Smith.

Mercy Health will spend some $273,000 to remodel their fifth floor neurosurgery unit. The project will be facilitated by Wear Construction Management.

Winston’s Pipe and Cigar will spend $47,797 to repair Eastside Liquor’s location at 9390 Rogers Avenue. American Dream Homes LLC will be the contractor on the project.

Brookdale Senior Living has been awarded a building permit for a $75,000 project to repair flood damages at their 5501 Duncan Road facility. Langniappe Construction will facilitate the project.
