LITTLE ROCK – Fort Smith-based CSK Hotels has expanded their holdings in downtown Little Rock, as they now own two large hotel properties adjacent to the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library.

Arkansas Business reports this week that the company bought the Holiday Inn Presidential Center through two affiliate corporations for some $12.75 Million. The company already owns the Comfort Inn Presidential Suites which is located on the opposite side of Interstate 30.

According to their website, CSK Hotels was started by Chris Whitt, Storm Nolan, and Kane Whitt in 2002 with the purchase of their first hotel property. It was an extension of Whitt Properties which managed the real estate investments of Chris Whitt since the 1980’s.

Since 2002, CSK Hotels has owned and managed 15 hotel projects from Florida to Tennessee to Arkansas, in addition to retail centers, self storage facilities, convenience stores, industrial warehouses, and many more.

Locally in Fort Smith, the company has developed the Hampton Inn, and also the Z-Mart Convenience Store on Zero Street.
