FORT SMITH – An event sponsored by the McCutchen and Sexton Law Firm in partnership with the Fort Smith Police Department gives parents a unique opportunity to ensure the safety of children riding as passengers in a vehicle.
The 17th Annual Car Seat Safety Event sets up a local retail area and provides free car seat inspections. Free car seats donated by the law firm are given out and installed on a first come first serve basis to replace car seat that are broken, defective, or have been recalled.
The event is set to take place in the Target parking lot at the Fort Smith Pavilion from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 20th, 2019.
The McCutchen and Sexton Law firm says that certified child safety seat inspectors from The Fort Smith Police Department, the Van Buren Police Department, and Elizabeth Davidson will be on hand for inspections and installations of car seats.
“We encourage parents and grandparents to stop by for a free safety inspection,” stated the McCutchen and Sexton Law Firm.
“This is a simple and free way to assure your child’s safety for the summer months ahead.”
Your child must be present in order to qualify for the free inspection and the limited supply of free seats will only be given out to replace defective or recalled car seats.
