FORT SMITH – The City of Fort Smith has announced the issuance of building permits, one of which includes a popular Central Arkansas based restaurant chain. Tacos For Life has applied to lease space in a new commercial building that will be housed at 4501 Phoenix Avenue, along with two other unknown tenants.
The restaurant, which expanded from its first location in Conway three years ago, holds a mission of giving meals to hungry children for every meal purchased locally. According to their website, 22 cents of each order is given to Feed My Starving Children, an organization that feeds malnourished children in sixty countries. The franchise has locations in Conway, Benton, Jonesboro, Northwest Arkansas, and in North Texas.
Tacos 4 Life staples include 14 different tacos, including spicy chorizo, crab cake, chicken bacon ranch, fried chicken, Korean barbecue steak, and crispy eggplant. Rice bowls, quesadillas, Mexican creamed corn, and nachos are also on the menu too.
